“Take your marks…” and so they did. Nearly 2 hours later and look what had happened: 163 new times set, 58 PBs, 19 county times and 32 club records (12 set against new events and 20 faster than existing club records! What great results at the end of a great event. A huge well done to all swimmers, especially to those in their first gala. We know it can be a bit daunting but you rose to the challenge like true champions, gave it your best and did it with a whole heap of enthusiasm. Thank you swimmers, thank you supporters, thank you helpers and thank you organisers – what a team!
