No breakfast in bed for the mums of swimmers competing on the last day of this year’s County Championships at Beechdale Swimming Centre, though the one short session would not disrupt Mother’s Day too much.
Highlights of the morning were:
Straight after the Warm-up Ben sped off in the very first heat of the day to get a 3 second PB and become the 6th fastest 9 year old 50m Breaststroker of the Championships.
Esther swam a blistering race to become Portland’s fastest girl 50m Breaststroker full stop.
Isabelle only just missed a PB in the same event and Rebecca swam her fastest time in 100m Individual Medley to go home with the accolade of having competed on every day of this year’s Counties PB’ing in every event.
Well done to all the swimmers and thank you once again to Dom for tireless support poolside.
