Ginny Birney is currently half way through a BTEC level 5 diploma in Sport and Remedial Massage at the nationally recognised North London School of Sports Massage (www.nlssm.com). She attends the London School every other Tuesday, but much of the practical work needs to be done independently, so she is looking for volunteers to work on to increase her log book hours and experience. She hopes to be qualified by the end of this year.
She offered massages at the recent East Leake Triathlon, is registered with the company working with British Triathlon and will be working on high profile rugby and other sporting events over the next few months.
Ginny says:
“I’m a qualified massage therapist already but wanted to concentrate on working with sportsmen and women in the future.
I’m fully insured and a member of the Sports Massage Association. Whilst I can’t promise to fix any issues you have (yet!) I hope you’d get something from the session.
I’d be happy to offer an hour’s massage including consultation without charge if you are happy to be entered in to my log book. I’ll also be looking for a case study shortly!”
