It was hot and humid, but that didn’t hold us back.
Our swimmers are always up for a challenge and this was particularly epitomised by Lucy tonight. Faced with the choice of climbing a mountain or swimming the 100m butterfly, many would choose the mountain. However, Lucy, who had never competed at this event before, was not flustered in the slightest and took it all in her stride or should we say in her stroke! Magnificent!
All the Portland swimmers did themselves (and their families) proud once again.
Impossible is nothing!!
