Due to major works at the university site this year, the group photo had to be taken in a different location.
Following some scouting around to find the best spot, off we all went to the back of the pool building ….

Better late than never!
Photo done, warm-up completed, it was time for swimming. And what great swimming! A huge number of PBs and many many New Times, lots of camaraderie, great effort and much friendliness, finished off by an exciting Coaches Relay event.
Then onto the Medal Presentation Event!
Though we’d worked up an appetite, some couldn’t resist the climbing wall on arrival at the fabulous Trent Youth Centre. With instructors from the Nottingham Climbing Centre ready and waiting, swimmers got straight to it and headed upwards!
With supper polished off, the presentation commenced; medals were awarded to the top three in each event, in every age group for boys and girls.
Congratulations to the medallists and all the swimmers. Certain races were so close and you all swam so well. Click here for the list of medallists.
For the remainder of the evening swimmers made the most of the climbing wall, football/basketball court and table games (football, tennis and pool). As usual boys, girls and all ages had fun together.
