For this first weekend of the 2016 County Championships, four Portland swimmers were in action at the Harvey Hadden Sports Village – Gaby Marriott on both days and Beatrice Munro, Rebecca Horne and Dahlia Brinklow on the Sunday.
1,2,3! Those were number of seconds Gaby PB’d by in her three events: 1 second in 200m backstroke, 3 seconds in 100m freestyle & 2 seconds in 200m freestyle. No mean feat when you’re swimming at Counties – magnificent Gaby!
Bea was clearly happy with her superfast time and PB in 100m freestyle (see photo below) and rightly so! Excellent Bea!
Rebecca and Dahlia, two of Portland’s most experienced swimmers, swam competitively in a strong field in both the 100m and 200m freestyle events. Well done girls!
